Welcome to Beaver & Martin well and pump services

We hope that you will find information here to help maintain your well and to help protect ground water for drinking. We understand that having water available in your home is essential, so "no water" jobs are our priority in resolving. We appreciate your patience and will get to your job in a timely manner. Please check out our check list page for a list of issues that you may come acrossed and the seriousness of your problem. If your pump is running a lot you need to shut the breaker off to it when you are not using it. This will help to keep your pump in good condition while waiting for your repair.

We can supply a FREE Estimate over the phone after asking some questions about your issue. Please inform us if there are any obstructions around the well that may make the job harder to complete. Phillip may need to get the pump hoist truck to the well. Some issues may be caused by more than one possible problem, so we can give you a pricing range that the job may run. The pressure tank is the 1st thing that he will check. It will need to be regulated to make sure that it is working at peak performance. He will be able to tell if there is an issue with the rest of the system this way, this is why a diagnostic fee is $150. If the pressure switch and or gauge needs to be replaced it will run $250. Sometimes we can't determine the cause until we dig into the job. If the line is loosing pressure it could be a hole in the line or the pump, so it could run any where from an additional $250 to $1200. Then this price is only if we can pull the pump out with no issues. Steel casing wells have a habit of building up corrosion. This can make it very difficult to remove the pump.

The Summer of 2011 Indiana DNR passed a law that anyone who works on a well must have a pump installers license. These laws are to protect your underground aquifer and your drinking water. The underground aquifer supplies water to all your neighbors, not just your home. There are over 35 different pit-less adapters out there. Phillip has the experience and knowledge to work on all brands of well equipment.
